Machinery and infrastructure
Sioen Chemicals is centrally located in Europe, with a state-of-the-art production plant and a newly built warehouse. Our experienced teams are operating state-of-the-art equipment in order to run our production process in an efficient and safe way and to ensure quality. Our experts are permanently looking for process optimisations in order to improve our efficiency and services.
Our production
We produce colouring solutions in all shapes and viscosities. The batches we produce vary between 50 and 6000 kg, depending on your needs and requirements.
Some of the main tasks our production department is involved in are mixing products, bringing products together, and/or further processing them. This includes grinding or refining the products to achieve a better colour strength.
Every production line is physically separated from other lines, in order to prevent contamination. This enables us to prepare high quality dispersions, inks and varnishes and to ensure consistency.
Machinery
Our state-of-the-art equipment and our vast expertise are definitely two of our major assets. Altogether, we have about 120 different machines, divided among the various departments. Our machinery includes different sizes of mixers. In addition, we have grinding mills and rollers. Those mills are grinding the pigments in order to achieve the colour strength needed.
Flexibility
Flexibility is in our DNA. Sioen employees are driven by quality and the will to serve our customers. With our experienced production team and our vast production capabilities, we are able to respond quickly to our customers’ needs. Our production planning is reviewed every day, which enables us to swiftly process new orders and to manage short lead times.
On our customers' demand, we package our products in a wide variety of containers, such as plastic buckets, metallic pails, drums and IBC’s. Once packaged, our customer orders are neatly packed and secured for transport.
